On June 25, 2024, the weeklong celebration began with our Opening Program led by VP Ms. Thess Lunzaga.
This was followed by a Wellness Talk by one of our event partners, Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC) Insures, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Project Rise hosted a fun MOD Board Game session in the PDOS Room in the afternoon. In the evening, the head office in Makati was lit with the Jebsen PTC colors of blue and green lights to commemorate the weeklong celebration for the GMPs. Throughout the day, there were free snacks and drinks for the GMPs. 
Meanwhile, the Cebu Office participated in the Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV) fluvial parade, which traversed from Plaza sa Katawhan to the Cebu Mactan South Channel.

The Iloilo Office joined the Day of the Seafarer opening program hosted by the MARINA Office Region VI at the AMOSUP Activity Center in Iloilo. Capt. Rodolfo Bañaco Jr. of CSL was one of the inspirational speakers during the opening program. 
On Day 2, June 26, 2024, we started the morning with a Wellness Talk by Health Metrics. The event partner also generously sponsored free 15-minute back massages until 12 noon for GMPs. Gardenia gave out free bread at the Crew Reception and to GMPs attending the PDOS. They also had a booth selling various bread products for GMPs and staff.
Day 3, June 27, 2024, featured the PTC Agri: My Produce Pop-Up Market from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the PDOS Room. This was a great opportunity for the Jebsen PTC GMPs and staff to take home fresh produce.
Finally, on Day 4, June 28, 2024, we wrapped up the weeklong celebration with a Closing Program. Janice Capile, Fleet Head, gave a thank you message to the GMPs, and Ms. Beng Cristobal, COO of the Shipping Cluster, delivered the closing remarks. Rommel Roman and KC del Carmen serenaded the GMPs with a song. Massage chairs were made available throughout the day so GMPs could relax while waiting for their appointments. Several crewing teams also decorated their office areas to amplify the spirit of the DOTS celebration. This week was a wonderful time for celebrating, learning, and enjoying these engaging activities. Thank you to our event partners: PTC Insures, Health Metrics, Philcamsat, First Maritime Credit Corp., Project RISE Program, PTC Agri, BDO, I-FERN, and Gardenia for making this year’s Day of the Seafarer celebration extra special for the Jebsen PTC GMPs.
