The PTC Group’s Family and Crew Relations (FCR) team hosted a joyful Thanksgiving Party on November 9, 2024, for the families of PTC and Jebsen PTC Global Maritime Professionals (GMPs) at the Penthouse of First Maritime Place. This special gathering, designed to celebrate the hardworking seafarers and their families, featured a lively costume party for kids, fun games, clown performances, and an abundance of special treats. Among the 38 children and 26 guardians who attended, there was plenty of laughter, excitement, and opportunities for children to display their talents and creativity.

A highlight of the day was the talent showcase, where enthusiastic kids volunteered to sing, dance, and tell stories. The title of "Best in Talent" went to Zhenna and Zhainna, daughters of UMMS CCk Armando Bacani, who captivated the audience with a ukulele performance and a song. The costume competition also stole the show, with "Best in Costume" awarded to Cassiopeia Athena Marie Silva, daughter of 1st Commis Anthrell Silva, for her impressive costume as “HIM” from The Powerpuff Girls. The “Early Bird” award went to the family of Oiler Nick C. Cugay of Hapag-Lloyd, who traveled all the way from Montalban, Rizal, to attend.

Grateful testimonials from families affirmed the event's success, with GMP wives expressing heartfelt appreciation for the unforgettable experience. Mrs. Juvelyn C. Cugay, wife of Oiler Nick C. Cugay, shared that it was her children’s first time attending such an event, and they enjoyed it immensely. April C. Sederio, wife of 2nd Mate Dhave B. Sederio, echoed the sentiment, saying, “My child’s laughter while watching the clowns and participating in the games was truly infectious.” PTC FCR extends its gratitude to its PTC and JP principals, including Virgin Voyages, Dockendale, Hapag Lloyd, Stodig, UMMS, Bahri, Alfa, The World, Njord, Coral Line, Apollo, and many others, for their invaluable support in making the Thanksgiving Party a memorable event for GMP families.
