The PTC Project RISE Team together with the Municipality of Balayan, Batangas, welcomed the delegates of the US-Philippines Society who visited the municipality last June 22, 2022.
The US-Philippines Society delegates took part in a conference which included the participation of Smart Development Institute (SDI) President Mr. Roberto Llames, the Municipality of Balayan headed by Mayor JR Fronda with Councilor Carlos Ermita-Alvarez and LGU Officials, and PTC Officials headed by PTC Shipping COO Edgar Milla with Executive Director for Corporate Policy, Risks, and Sustainability MGen. Restituto Padilla, Jr., and Head of Strategic Planning Mr. Leslie Suntay.
The discussions included the target roll-out of the RISE Balayan Mobile App and RISE WARN System, as part of the implementation of Project RISE in Balayan.
Balayan Mayor JR Fronda expressed his support and ppreciation for the RISE Balayan Mobile App, which he foresees will benefit not only Balayeños, but other Batangas residents as well as he hopes to have the RISE Mobile App introduced to all 8 Municipalities of the 1st District of the Province of Batangas.
