PTC’s Sea Mariners became young advocates for environmental protection and solid waste reduction as they learned about paper waste recycling at the Eco Caravan 2021 held last November 20 at Baseco, Manila. Through a demonstration conducted by Tetra Pak Philippines, the participating Sea Mariners and children of PTC GMPs learned how to transform used beverage cartons (UBCs) into new paper which they can use for school and craft projects.
The event is part of the Community Cohesion Resilience initiative by Tetra Pak, Sea Mariners, Assist Asia, and the PTC Group, supported by the Embassy of Sweden and the Swedish Institute.
