The PTC RISE Program team successfully visited the officials of the Department of Education Schools Division Office of San Pedro City, Laguna today, at the San Pedro Central Elementary School. Led by PTC Talent Acquisition Group Program Manager Hector Brizuela, with RISE Lead Program Officer Josh McCarver, the team discussed the RISE Program for Safe Schools which aims to enhance the Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (DRRR) capacities of public schools, through the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (SDRRMO). DepEd SDO San Pedro City, led by Schools Division Superintendent Mr. Rogelio Opulencia, is optimistic that the initiative will help them establish and strengthen Disaster Preparedness and Resilience across 28 schools in San Pedro City. |
