The Filipino Shipowners Association (FSA) held the induction of its 2024 Officers and members of the Board of Trustees last January 31 at the Diamond Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, Manila. The newly elected officers and Board members were sworn into office by the new MARINA Administrator, Hon. Sonia B. Malaluan. Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC) Founder Ambassador Carlos Salinas continues to serve as Chairman Emeritus while PTC CEO Gerardo A. Borromeo continues his term as Vice President. Members of the PTC Group who will serve as members of the FSA Board of Trustees are: Capt. Ronald SJ Enrile representing Lighthouse Ship Management, Phils; Ms. Theresa D. Paguio representing Jebsen PTC; Ms. Vivian Cristobal representing PTC Agency & Transport, Inc.; and Ms. Karen Avelino representing the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training (PHILCAMSAT). Addressing the FSA Board and Officers, Ambassador Salinas reiterated the FSA’s important role as the voice of the country's overseas shipping sector and its thrust to uplift the quality of the Philippine flag and elevate the country's maritime industry to global standards. |
