The RISE team successfully participated in the Student Leaders Congress and Student Organization Accreditation and Recognition event, organized by the Department of Student Affairs and Services of St. Dominic College of Asia last September 09, 2023.
Guest speaker Josh P. McCarver delivered a presentation on the theme "Leadership Redefined: Inspire, Empower, Innovate" where he stressed the importance of a collaborative, inclusive, proactive, and responsive approach to leadership for the students and student leaders. Afterwards, each of the 21 institutional, academic, and non-academic student organizations were awarded their accreditation certificates and presented their one-year plan of programs and activities. A panel of critics gave their constructive insights and suggestions on how to make the programs and activities presented more effective, efficient, and innovative. |
