The PTC Group once again affirmed its commitment to protecting the marine environment by participating in the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2025 held last September 19 at SM By the Bay, Pasay City. Over 60 volunteers, composed of PTC Shipping employees, Jebsen PTC employees, Seaspan Philippines employees and crew, came together to contribute to this global effort for cleaner oceans.

Working hand in hand with thousands of other volunteers, the PTC Group participants collected over 1 ton (1,070 kgs.) of trash from the bay area. Their efforts formed part of a nationwide initiative that mobilized over 48,800 volunteers across 28 SM malls in the Philippines, collectively gathering more than 200,000 kilograms of waste.

The ICC, recognized as the world’s largest volunteer effort for ocean health, highlights the importance of collective action in addressing marine pollution. By joining this activity, the PTC Group reinforces its dedication to sustainability and to safeguarding the seas that serve as the lifeblood of the maritime industry.
