On September 8, 2025, a significant milestone in the partnership between The PTC Talent Acquisition Group and Midway Colleges with the official signing of the Master Agreement. Leading the event was Capt. Ronald SJ. Enrile, PTC Senior Adviser for Shipping Cluster; John Paul Soto Jr., PTCI Deputy Head for Cruise and Programs Manager for Shipping Cluster; Mr. Sabino Czar Cloma Manglicmot II, Midway Colleges President; and Capt. Ruszell Apacheca, Dean of the College of Maritime Education at Midway Colleges. The signing ceremony was also attended by some members of PTC Talent Acquisition Group and Midway Colleges.

The collaborations between PTC-TAG and Midway Colleges began in 2022, as they partnered to provide ready-to-use adaptive learning materials, known as “A-books,” to their students. Additionally, PTC-TAG initiated the PTC Masterclass Sessions to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of their cadets, students and faculty, and conducted the PTC RISE Program for Safe Schools for disaster risk reduction training, equipping their students and teachers with knowledge and skills in disaster preparedness before, during, and after emergencies.

With shared goals and resources, the PTC Group and Midway Colleges are poised to make a lasting impact not just on the maritime community, but on other industries as well, empowering the next generation of Filipino professionals.
