PTC RISE Program brings Master of Disaster Board Game to Bacoor students

SEPTEMBER 14, 2025

The PTC RISE Program, in partnership with the RSE Foundation, Inc., successfully facilitated a Master of Disaster (MOD) Board Game Session last August 29, 2025, at Bacoor National High School–Main. The activity was led by PTC Talent Acquisition Project Associate Crystal Lopez and Program Associate Chloe Balmaceda, and was warmly received by more than 150 student participants.

The session introduced students to the engaging and educational MOD Board Game, which teaches disaster preparedness and response in an interactive way. As the students played, they learned how to properly prepare for hazards and reduce risks that could lead to disasters—all while enjoying the spirit of teamwork and collaboration.

To sustain the initiative, the RSE Foundation donated two MOD Board Game sets to the Bacoor Teen Center. These will be used as tools to continue educating children and adolescents on disaster preparedness and resilience.

The PTC RISE Program extends its gratitude to the City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike Revilla, together with Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Officer-in-Charge Angie Cariaso and Office of Population Development Head Emilie De Castro, for their invaluable support in making the program a success.
