Last September 30, 2025, PTC capped off National Maritime Week and Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMO) with “Our Ocean, Our Celebration,” a special culminating program organized by PTC’s Family and Crew Relations (FCR) team. Held at the Penthouse of First Maritime Place, the event brought together PTC Group employees and GMPs in a lively and meaningful gathering.

The program opened with an inspiring video message from Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, IMO Secretary-General, followed by welcome remarks from Mr. Jimmy Innocencio, PTC Fleet Manager. To set the mood, an exciting icebreaker game with prizes encouraged active participation and energized the audience. The program was hosted by interns from the National University (NU), MJ Samson assigned to Marcom, and JC Lamanilao, assigned to Claims.

One of the program’s main highlights was the PTC Group Sustainability Quiz, where employees tested their knowledge about PTC’s sustainability efforts. Emerging victorious were Shayne Perez of PTC Quality Assurance, Mark Que of PHILCAMSAT, and Samantha Alexa Asajar from PTC Shipmanagement, who were recognized with special prizes.

Adding to the excitement, raffle draws were also held, rewarding participants who supported the PTC Group Sustainability Fair last September 22. The program also featured an intermission performance from Joshua Alvarez, an intern for the Talent Acquisition Team from NU, who serenaded the crowd with a song. The celebration was officially closed by Ms Normie Hernandez, FCR Manager, who thanked everyone who supported this year’s NMW and MANAMO celebrations.
