NOVEMBER 14 2025

On November 10, 2025, PTC organized an exclusive dinner at Plaza Moriones, Fort Santiago, to welcome the speakers of the Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global Conference. Set within the historic walls of Intramuros, the gathering brought together maritime industry thought leaders on the eve of the three-day global conference, offering guests a unique experience of the Philippines' cultural and maritime heritage.

The dinner, hosted by PTC CEO Gerardo Borromeo, provided an ideal opportunity for distinguished speakers and industry experts to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange insights, and strengthen collaboration within the maritime community. Surrounded by the iconic architecture of the Walled City, guests also enjoyed a captivating night view of Fort Santiago—an atmosphere that encouraged dialogue and connection.

A highlight of the event was an exclusive tour of the Museo del Galeon and updates on the life-size Galleon Espiritu Santo, reflecting the country’s profound maritime legacy. Guests engaged in a lively trivia game about the venue, learning about the rich history of the Philippines, and they were treated to an exceptional performance by Los Cantantes de Manila, adding a cultural flourish that further elevated the evening.

The dinner successfully blended history, culture, and industry exchange, setting an inspiring tone for the Crew Connect Global Conference that followed.
