The Jebsen PTC Family and Crew Relations (FCR) Team successfully held its first face-to-face meet-up for Cebu-based Global Maritime Professionals (GMPs) and their families. Over 46 participants gathered at the AMOSUP Cebu Activity Center for a morning of connection and learning.

The event focused on fostering camaraderie and strengthening the sense of community among GMPs in the Cebu area. The day kicked off with an opening prayer by Regine V. Dumayac, a Jebsen PTC crew from Valiant Lady followed by a fun icebreaker activity, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

A video message from Thess Lunzaga, Vice President of JPMI Crewing, welcomed the attendees, followed by a heartfelt Message of Support from Beng Cristobal, Chief Operating Officer of the Shipping Cluster. Normie Hernandez, FCR Manager, then introduced the team’s various initiatives designed to support crew members and their families.

Health and financial wellness were key topics of the day. PTC Insures emphasized the importance of taking care of one's health through a talk titled "The True Treasure: Health as the Ultimate Wealth." This was followed by a session from BDO on "Enhancing Financial Security Through Digital Banking Innovation," where participants received valuable tips on managing their finances.

The program continued with a Maritime Industry Update delivered by Ms. Geneveve B. Caday, Administrative Assistant, who shared important updates and trends in the maritime sector.

Before closing, Ramilie O. Villaruz, Branch Manager for Iloilo & Cebu and Recruitment Manager, delivered a Message of Thanks to all the participants and speakers. The event officially concluded with a Closing Message from Janice Capile, AVP for Crewing, marking the end of a meaningful and memorable gathering.
