PHILCAMSAT proudly announces the successful completion of the 1st Surveillance Audit of the Global Wind Organization (GWO), conducted on June 26–27, 2025, at The MAST in Maragondon, Cavite. This marks another significant milestone for the institution as it continues to uphold its reputation as a leading provider of world-class safety training. The audit concluded with zero non-conformities and only one observation—an affirmation of PHILCAMSAT’s unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and excellence in training delivery.

The audit reviewed PHILCAMSAT’s delivery of GWO-approved courses under the Basic Safety Training (BST) and Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR) standards. These include First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Height, and Sea Survival—core modules that are essential in preparing personnel for the challenging environments of offshore and onshore wind energy operations.

With the increasing global demand for clean energy, PHILCAMSAT remains at the forefront of developing safety competencies for wind turbine technicians and other professionals in the renewable energy sector. The successful audit reaffirms the training center’s role as a trusted partner in preparing Filipino workers to meet international safety and operational standards in the wind industry.
