PTC Group donates to Caritas Manila’s Segunda Mana to support youth education

As part of its 46th-anniversary celebration, the PTC Group, through the PTC HAC HR Team, turned over five boxes of donations to Caritas Manila’s Segunda Mana project on February 18. The donations, generously contributed by PTC employees, were collected through the “Share the Love, Spread the Kindness” drive, which ran from February 10 to 17.
The donated items included pre-loved clothes, toys, books, extra school and office supplies, gadgets, sporting goods, household items, and other valuable goods. The proceeds from these donations will help send youth servant leaders from disadvantaged communities to college, empowering them to become future leaders of the Church and the country. This meaningful initiative was gratefully acknowledged by Fr. Anton Pascual, Executive Director of Caritas Manila, and His Eminence Jose F. Cardinal Advincula, D.D., Chairman of Caritas Manila.
Beyond its charitable impact, the donation drive also aligns with PTC’s sustainability efforts by promoting responsible repurposing. Instead of discarding old belongings, employees had the opportunity to give their items a new purpose, reducing waste and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Through this initiative, the PTC Group reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility, education, and community development. A heartfelt thank you to all employees who participated in spreading kindness and making a lasting impact!
