PTC-CSJ Foundation on its 15th year expands support to QC Public Schools
AUGUST 15, 2025

On its 15th year of service, the PTC-CSJ Foundation has broadened its reach by partnering with five additional public elementary schools in Quezon City, complementing its ongoing work with seven schools in Muntinlupa City.
The new collaboration was formalized during an orientation meeting held on May 29, 2025, with the Department of Education–Quezon City (DepEd-QC), led by Assistant Schools Division Superintendent (ASDS) Engr. Marc Voltaire A. Padilla. During the meeting, PTC-CSJ Executive Director Ms. Flory A. Tabio warmly welcomed DepEd-QC and the five partner schools: Project 6 Special Science Elementary School, Bago Bantay Elementary School, GSIS Village Elementary School, Mines Elementary School, and Toro Hills Elementary School.
ASDS Engr. Padilla highlighted the importance of partnerships like PTC-CSJ’s, noting that with 95 public elementary schools under its jurisdiction, DepEd-QC greatly values the support of committed organizations. The principals of the five schools echoed this sentiment and expressed their full support for the collaboration.
As part of this new partnership, PTC-CSJ will implement its flagship program, Growing Good to Great Kids (3G), in the five schools. Beginning in August 2025 and until the end of School Year 2025–2026, the Foundation will provide nutritious daily lunches to 50 Kinder or Grade 1 learners who are classified as severely wasted or wasted and are not covered by DepEd’s School-Based Feeding Program.
In addition, the 3G Program also focuses on parent education. On August 7, fifty-seven young parents of the feeding beneficiaries actively participated in a “First 1,000 Days” Training organized by PTC-CSJ and Synergeia Foundation. Dr. Rey Aquino, a Synergeia mentor and the session’s resource speaker, underscored the importance of the first 1,000 days—from conception to a child’s second birthday—as a critical period for brain development, physical growth, and immune system formation.
As it celebrates 15 years of meaningful service, the PTC-CSJ Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to uplift underprivileged Filipino youth through education and holistic child development.
