The PTC Talent Acquisition Group, in collaboration with the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) of the City Government of Dagupan, successfully conducted The PTC Group's Dagupan Recruitment Day on November 9, 2024, at the Dagupan City People's Astrodome, bringing together job seekers and industry leaders under one roof.

Several business units from The PTC Group were present, showcasing a wide range of career opportunities for Pangasinenses. Representing Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. were Antonio Reginaldo, Recruitment Manager, along with Recruitment Officers Kimberly Arambulo, Jobelle Garcia, Angelica Indicio, Rosalie Lanzarote; and Fatima Grace Bocboc, Recruitment Assistant. Lifelinks International Resources Inc. was represented by their Recruitment Manager, Timothy Miles Ocampo, together with Jayson De Jesus, Recruitment Officer, and Bernadette Buenavidez, Talent Acquisition Assistant. Smartpark Solutions Inc. was also represented during the event, further enriching the diversity of opportunities available to applicants.

Over 500 applicants registered online via the job posts that the PESO and TAG published, however during the recruitment day over 300 actual applicants showed up due to time constraints which limited the interviews.

This turnout highlighted the eagerness and readiness of the local workforce to seize new employment opportunities.

The Dagupan City PESO was very happy and overwhelmed by the event, noting it as the biggest recruitment activity they had ever experienced. They shared hopes for many of their constituents to secure jobs with The PTC Group. Hon. Belen T. Fernandez, Dagupan City Mayor, also made a quick visit to the event and conveyed gratitude for organizing such an impactful recruitment activity in Dagupan. She expressed her happiness and extended an invitation for The PTC Group to return for future career events, reinforcing the city's commitment to fostering employment opportunities for its residents.

As The PTC Group continues to expand its reach and engagement with local talent pools, the recent recruitment day in Dagupan sets a promising precedent for similar initiatives in the future.
