On November 11, 2024, PTC organized an exclusive dinner at the Museo del Galeon to welcome the speakers of the Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global Conference. This special gathering, hosted by PTC CEO Gerardo Borromeo in collaboration with Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global brought together maritime industry thought leaders just ahead of the 3-day conference. The event also offered a unique preview of the impressive exhibits to be showcased at the museum which celebrates the rich maritime heritage of the Philippines.

The dinner served as an ideal opportunity for the distinguished speakers and industry experts to engage in meaningful conversations and exchange insights, all within the captivating setting of the museum. A standout moment of the evening was the presentation of a Special Recognition Award to Mr. Guy Platten, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping, for his distinguished service to the maritime industry. The evening was further enriched by a special live painting of a galeon by speed painter Odette, capturing the essence of maritime heritage in a unique artistic form. Participants also engaged in a lively trivia game about the Philippines’ galeon trade history, creating a fun and interactive atmosphere.
