AUGUST 09, 2024

PTC-CSJ Foundation is proud to share that its two B.S. Marine Transportation scholars, Cadets Jonnar Mina and Hanna Claire Samiano, graduated at the Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL) during the Commencement Exercises held on August 5, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center.

As members of Class 2024, Cadets Mina and Samiano are among the 23 graduates of MMCL’s Mapua-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training.

The two scholar graduates were joined at the ceremonies by their proud and grateful parents, PTC’s Talent Acquisition/Education and Training Officer Engr. Marianne Camille G. Pastolero, and PTC-CSJ Foundation’s Executive Director, Ms. Flory A. Tabio.

Through the Foundation’s Nurturing Future Seafarers (NFS) – Batch 2 Project, the two cadets received full scholarship support on their second to fourth-year studies at MMCL. Cadet Samiano is the Project’s first female scholar to graduate.

The NFS – Batch 2 Project is supported by a grant from the TK Foundation Fund through the Orange County Community Foundation.
