A passing LPG tanker managed by Apollo Ship
Management en route to the port of Cartagena
rescued eleven Cuban migrants and transported them
to the Cayman Islands last November 26. The rescue
operations were led by Jebsen PTC’s Captain Amancio
Lino Plazuela, Master, together with the onboard team
of LPG/C Irene A.

The migrants were welcomed onboard where they
received a medical check-up before they were turned
over to officials in accordance with the Cayman Islands
Customs and Border Control Service’s protocol.
