Dr. Modesto G. Villarin, Principal of Ismael Mathay Sr. High School (IMSHS),
together with his staff Mr. Augustus Czaesar M. Parra and Mr. Jessie Balinguit,
visited PHILCAMSAT for a benchmarking event. They were accompanied by
representatives from the Quezon City Division’s Office, headed by Dr. Helen
Flora, Education Program Supervisor, and architects and engineers from the
Quezon City LGU. The visit was designed to help provide IMSHS with ideas of
how they can effectively design their planned Maritime Laboratory which will
be established at the IMSHS campus.

PHILCAMSAT QA and Program Director, C/E Alfredo Haboc, gave them
pointers on how this project should be dealt with given the available
resources and what will be the most effective laboratory equipment
that must be installed in a way that will support all the technical
specialization courses of the SHS Maritime Tech-Voc track.

This is PTC’s first MSHS partner that has been provided full program
support by the local government.
