PTC’s Sea Mariners team has established its 8th ship with PHINMA
– University of Iloilo (PHINMA UI). PHINMA UI is an academic
institution that forms part of PHINMA Education. The pilot 24
members are BS Marine Engineering students.

The Sea Mariners from PHINMA Ship completed their virtual
Orientation program on October 21. This was followed by a faceto-face Onboarding Training on October 28 where they had the
chance to play and learn the Master of Disaster (MOD) Board
Game facilitated by PTC’s implementing partner ASSIST Asia. The
members also elected their officers and signed the Charter
Agreement through Dean Lemuel Bullos Jr. and Adult Adviser
Ulyssess Nepomuceno. The initiative was made possible through
the support of Ms. Churchille Pasague, Community Engagement
Officer of PHINMA UI who will be linking PTC to the other PHINMA
universities in Metro Manila to ensure that more Sea Mariners
ships will sail across the country.
