PTC’s Project RISE has been nominated for the Welfare
and Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the
annual CrewConnect Global Awards. The category
recognizes corporate social responsibility policies or
initiatives delivered in the past year, with a measurable
impact on crews or wider communities. PHILCAMSAT’s
Bridge Program meanwhile was shortlisted for the
Industry Solutions Award for demonstrating a
significant contribution to moving the maritime
industry along the innovation track to positively impact
crews in marine training and education.

The awarding ceremony will be held on November 24 as part of the CrewConnect
Global Conference happening from November 22 to 24 at the Sofitel Philippine
Plaza Manila. PTC CEO Gerardo Borromeo is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech
on the topic “An Essential Update from the Government of the Philippines” on Day
3 of the conference.
