Teaching Sto. Rosario National High School cadets about disaster resiliency

The Project RISE Team visited the Sto. Rosario National High School
last October 17 and was warmly welcomed by the faculty members,
headed by its School Head, Mr. Jayson M. Flores, and the Senior High
School (SHS) Students of the Maritime Strand under the TechnicalVocational and Livelihood (TVL) Track.

Sto. Rosario National High School is the
first and only public Senior High School
offering Maritime Strand under the TVL
Track in the province of Pampanga.

As part of this visit, SIP-PEP Lead
Program Officer Josh P. McCarver
facilitated the Master of Disaster
(MOD) Board Game to 30
Maritime Strand SHS Students,
where they got to play and
experience the game and learned
about disaster preparedness and
response, all while having fun.
