Last October 18, 2022, the Overseas Workers Welfare
Administration Regional Welfare Office VI (OWWA) held an
Information Caravan and Investments Forum for Seafarers in
Western Visayas at the District 21 Hotel in Iloilo City.
Representatives of the Jebsen PTC Maritime, Inc. Iloilo satellite
office were in attendance as well as some of JPMI’s crew.

The Caravan and Investments Forum was held in conjunction with the
National Maritime Celebration. The event provided information on the
various programs and services offered by OWWA to Filipino seafarers
and their families. The event also provided financial literacy training
as well as information on various business opportunities for Filipino
seafarers.
