PTC’s Project RISE Team successfully conducted its orientation for the
Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee
(BDRRMC) Members under the Liga ng mga Barangay Iloilo City Chapter
last September 01 at the Kerr & Co. Building, Iloilo City Proper.

Initiatives.

The PTC Project RISE team started its Iloilo City visit through a courtesy
call with Mayor Jerry Treñas, where the target project components,
which will benefit Ilonggo youth and residents, were discussed.

Mayor Jerry Treñas appreciates the team’s effort and thanked them for
including Iloilo City as part of Project RISE. The team presented him with
a Master of Disaster (MOD) Board Game to thank him for his support.

Project RISE also conducted an orientation for SK Chairpersons and
Officials under the Iloilo City SK Federation on August 31. All SK
Chairpersons and Officials who participated in the activity enjoyed an
afternoon of meaningful discussions about the role of youth in
disaster preparedness and resiliency initiatives.
