For 24-year-old Reiner Manio, getting a job is never an easy task yet he
admits that he never lets an opportunity pass by without even trying.

Reiner is one of the applicants hired by MSC Crewing Services
Philippines, Inc. during the recent job fair coordinated by PTC’s Talent
Acquisition team. He arrived a few hours before the closing of the oneday activity yet his eyes sparkled when he was given options as to
whether he would like to apply for a job on land or at sea.

A graduate of Tourism Management at the
Our Lady of Fatima University Pampanga,
Reiner worked as a front office agent for
almost a year at the Best Western Metro
Clark. He was able to apply what he
learned from school and gained experience
by interacting with customers, which he
enjoyed doing.

Reinier hopes to complete his final requirements and finally fulfill his
dream of working on a cruise ship. “To the whole team of PTC who paved
the way for this job fair, thank you so much for the guidance and
assistance, from the registration to the final interview. “Sobrang smooth
yung naging experience namin dito at sobrang mababait lahat na talagang
wala akong nakitang kahit isang masungit na tao dito. Sobrang salamat po
sa napakaraming job opportunities na dinala nyo para sa aming mga
Kapampangan!”

Indeed, great opportunities such as this rarely come by but when it does,
we should definitely take the chance, and make the most of it. For sure
Renier is on his way to becoming a Global Maritime Professional.
